Thanksgiving 2010

It's that time again, time to get everything prepped for the "big" day. A day filled with turkey, stuffing, all the trimmings and of course..........pie!!! I'm not a pumpkin pie fan, so pecan it is. This year I'm also going to attempt an upside down apple pie.

The other day I started to stitch on Pot Luck by Ink Circles. I'm not to far into it; but not bad for stitching while waiting for The Boy to get his allergy shot and a stitch here and there during the movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World (I think that's the right name for the movie). It wasn't as good as I thought it would be; but not as bad as it could have been. Now; who knows what tomorrow will bring.

  3. Great start - can't wait to see more :) Are you using the colors it calls for? Pecan is too rich for me - but then, so is my apple pie, if I do it right :)

  5. The pie looks awesome Shawn - I usually make the pies for Thanksgiving, but because we'd only been home from the hospital two full days no one would let me. They made the pumpking, but no one made pecan :-(

  6. @ Nancy, it just might take the place; I'm finding it easier to post pictures in the blog portion. I'll still post pictures in albums on Multiply more than likely. :)

@ Stephanie, I've already stitched more on it. lol

To everyone on the pie comments. Thank you!! I really enjoy baking and getting my apron dirty. lol I really need to wash it after the pecan and upside down apple pies were made.
